Rally officials undergo training

Nairobi, Kenya, February 16, 2020– A record 30 stage commanders underwent training at the WRC Safari Rally Project headquarters to align themselves with the latest FIA rules and regulations governing the World Rally Championship (WRC).
The One-day training conducted by the WRC Safari Rally 2020 Clerk- of -Course Gurvi Bhabra was also attended by senior officials of the event’s sporting arm organising committee Chris Eden and Joan Nesbitt.

Bhabra said all senior officials in the Safari will be trained in various fields. All volunteer marshals will also get similar knowledge to fuse perfectly in all facets of the Safari.
The 2020 Safari will be held from July 16 to 19 in Nairobi, Kiambu and Nakuru counties.

A similar programme was done in Kigali Rwanda, according to the FIA Vice President Africa Surinder Thatthi.
